Wilson Career Solutions has over thirty-five years employment within government and non-government management and senior executive roles.   I personally have developed a passion for supporting and mentoring people to seek further employment opportunities through growth and advancement.

Having been employed within the non-government sector for many years, I understand the need to be constantly seeking funding through grants and tenders, and the need to maintain policies,procedures and regulatory and legislative requirements.  Staff also require regular training to maintain currency and skills in their job roles to ensure the ongoing success of an organisation.

Being able to support both individuals and organisations in their quest for success and growth is exciting and Wilson Career Solutions have a range of services that can assist to ensure this success.

Until early 2018 I was a senior TAFE NSW Manager - Faculty Manager for the Community Health and Service Industries Faculty. I had previous success in establishing the Student Services Directorate within New England TAFE providing disability, counselling, career and culturally appropriate support services to students. I bring experience and proven success in operational and strategic planning, possess high level oral and written communication skills, high level skills in staff management,recruitment, conflict resolution, project management, committee coordination and participation, budgets, financial planning, and other business functions.  

My employment prior to TAFE NSW has included Correctional Services in South Australia where I held positions as a Manager of a regional sector in Community Based Corrections and later as an Intervention Manager within a Custodial Institution.   I also spent 11 years working with Youth as the Manager of West Coast Youth Services in Port Lincoln South Australia, providing a range of crisis, medium- and long-term accommodation options, outreach programs, counselling and other services. 

I have extensive experience working on Management Committees for non-government organisations and have been the Chairperson of a community-based organisation for over 10 years.
